Freelance Sound Post-Production & Producer

After graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts: Sound Design, I undertook the role of production assistant on the independent Australian feature film entitled ‘INFINI’. Some would call this a baptism of fire; I would agree, however I would add that it enabled me to quickly learn new skills and effectively develop others in a professional context. It also gave me the opportunity to undertake post-production work on ‘INFINI’ as well as another Australian feature film; ‘Terminus’. I worked as a foley artist, sound recordist and editor, studio assistant, concierge and I was involved with ADR and sound mix.

I produce and perform music in a collective know as ‘Ümbra’ –

‘Ümbra is an electro-acoustic trio that employs an eclectic blend of cinematic composition, digital reappropriation of traditional instrumentation and modern IDM.

The band hails from Brisbane, Australia, officially forming early 2013 upon the discovery of three friends’ mutual admiration for bleeps, bloops and 808s. Since then Ümbra has garnered a dedicated local following, playing at notable Brisbane venues including, Metro Arts, New Globe Theatre, Alhambra Lounge etc.’

I also work as a freelance sound designer, collaborating with national and international clientele on anything from student animation to corporate videos. I have a thorough understanding of multiple DAW’s, including: Pro Tools, Logic Pro and Ableton Live.

Additionally, I have almost 8 years experience in customer service and front of house roles, which have required outstanding interpersonal, time management and critical thinking skills both as part of a team and individually.
