About me | Renae Moore has been working in the film and television industry for over a decade. After graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in Journalism she escaped to Sydney to join the film folk. She began working on sets as a Camera Assistant and then moved into the position of Script Supervisor, working on such well known shows as Love My Way, Spirited, Puberty Blues, All Saints and Packed to the Rafters. During her time as a Script Supervisor her love of the written word was reignited and Renae once again found her love for writing. By 2007 she knew that she wanted to collaborate with like minded people to produce and write stories for screens of all sizes. In 2009, Renae studied Producing and Screen Business at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and she was selected into the SPAA Emerging Producers scheme in 2010. During her time at AFTRS Renae produced three short films, which were accepted to international film festivals. “Mama Always Told Him” which won the Rhode Island Best Short Comedy award, “Crystal Jam” which screened at the Cannes Film Festival-Cinema des Antipodes and “Loveless” which screened at Flickerfest and Palm Springs. In 2010 Renae applied and was accepted in to the Metro Screen Producers Scholarship Advanced Diploma for multi-platform production taught by Gary Hayes. Renae stepped in to the abyss of her imagination writing game ideas and thinking of new ways to extend story worlds. Renae has also been a mentor for the Metro Screen First Break project and taught Producing and Production Management for the Metro Screen Cert IV course. To date Renae’s work has screened at international film festivals (Palm Springs, LA Shortfest, Rhode Island Film festival, Flickerfest) and her produced TVC’s have shown on primetime TV. Renae is currently developing content for Screen Innovate and managing the company- Unotrio. |
