Daniel Krige began to write direct and act at the age of 21. His writing credits include a BAFTA-nominated episode of the Hugh Jackman vehicle, CORRELLI, AFI-nominated episodes of POLICE RESCUE and MIRROR MIRROR, along with episodes of ALL SAINTS, MURDER CALL, STINGERS and HOME AND AWAY. He has enjoyed international success with the award-winning short films, OUR FERAL FRIENDS, FUCKWIT, HAPPILY EVER AFTER and, more recently, PROVIDENCE PARK. His critically acclaimed first feature, WEST was released in 2007. As an actor, Krige has a long list of guest roles to his credit, including appearances on TRICKY BUSINESS, HOME AND AWAY, EAST WEST 101, REDFERN NOW, BROTHERS IN ARMS. In addition to this he was rehearsals director on Season One of REDFERN NOW. He was the Directing Consultant and also stars in the hit movie BACKYARD ASHES opposite Felix Williamson. Krige recently directed and starred in his second feature film REDD INC which was released in Australia and Japan in November 2012, and is currently in release in the US by HBO under the title “INHUMAN RESOURCES”.
