Film industry professional with more than 10 years experience working within film and television. Andrea has a Masters degree in Media Arts & Production, as well as a Bachelor of Communications (Writing) from The University of Technology, Sydney. She has worked in Sydney, Los Angeles and New York on projects alongside Matthew Perry, Eva Mendes, Alison Janney, Christina Ricci, Oscar-nominated Karen Black, and TV producer Thomas Schlamme (‘West Wing’, ‘ER’). Upon arriving in LA in 2009, she was hired at Sony Pictures Studios where she worked on ABC TV show ‘Mr Sunshine’. There she worked for Tony Award winning production designer Richard Hoover (Girl Interrupted, Twin Peaks, HBO’s Enlightened). Her U.S credits include Eva Mendes’ directorial debut film ‘California Romanza’ as part of Glamour Magazine’s Reel Moments Festival. At the end of 2010, she production designed her first feature ‘Maria My Love’ which went on to be an Official Selection for the New York Tribeca Film Festival in 2011 and win Best U.S Feature Film at the New York International Latino Festival. Upon returning to Australia, Andrea went on to production design George Basha’s gritty prison film ‘Convict’ – a production set almost entirely in one of Australia’s most historic jails. The film went on to receive theatrical releases across Australia as well as Asia, the Middle East and Europe. More recently, Andrea production designed road movie and action flick ‘All About E’ which was selected as the opening film for the 2015 Sydney Mardi Gra Festival. Her latest feature film was the highly successful ‘The Combination: Redemption’ directed by George Basha released in early 2019. This film won rave reviews from film critics of the Sunday Morning Herald, Telegraph and The Australian and was hailed as an Australian hit.

Andrea is also currently working as a writer and script consultant on several feature and TV projects in development.
